Update: DOL Responds to Presidential Memorandum
On Thursday, February 9, the Department of Labor filed a
notice with the Office of Management and Budget seeking to delay the
applicability date of the Fiduciary Rule. It is anticipated that the DOL will
seek a 180-day delay in the applicability of the rule, during which it will
complete the review ordered under the February 3 Presidential Memorandum.
